Pilbara Sand Supply has delivered high quality river sand to projects throughout the Pilbara since 2014. Driven by quality, our sand is perfectly suited to concrete, bedding, and stabilisation construction applications. In 2020, we built a gravel processing plant and developed graded gravel to service the Water Drillers and RC Drillers operating in the Pilbara region.

River Sand & Graded Gravel Supplier, Newman WA
Pilbara Sand Supply has supplied high-quality river sand to projects throughout the Pilbara since 2014. We supply from our own leases at Newman and Nullagine, process our own graded gravel, and can deliver to your site or have your order ready for collection.
Bedding sand and concrete sand for Pilbara projects
Our bulk sand suits concrete, bedding and stabilisation applications. We supply three types:
- Bedding sand: screened river sand, free of organic material, for sewer and stormwater pipes, electrical cables and conduits, and general pipe bedding. Typically screened to 4.75 mm, and we can blend to your project specification.
- Concrete sand: a strong, durable, coarse sand used as an aggregate in concrete mixes.
- Asphalt sand: coarse, washed, angular crushed sand that compacts well. Used as a levelling course under pavers and flagstones, and for skid-resistant surfaces.
Graded gravel for water bores and drilling
In 2020 we built a gravel processing plant to supply graded gravel to the water drillers and RC drillers working across the Pilbara. Also known as driller’s gravel, it is graded, washed and oven-dried coarse river sand, packed around water bores to form a primary filter. Standard sizes are 1.6–3.2 mm, 3.2–6.4 mm and 6–10 mm, and grading can be customised to suit your application.
Landscaping gravel
Our premium landscaping gravel is an earthy stone for landscaping projects, and its water retention makes it well suited to mulching. We deliver it anywhere in Western Australia.
Sand and gravel haulage across the Pilbara
We arrange haulage of your order from our Newman and Nullagine leases to sites in and around Newman, Port Hedland, South Hedland, Karratha, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Marble Bar and Nullagine. Prefer to collect? Orders can be picked up from our Newman lease. See our lease locations.
